Hotchkis Suspension Open House and GM Car Show 2013

Our friends at Hotchkis Suspension in Santa Fe Springs held their annual open house and car show over the weekend. The show attracted about 100 local GM enthusiasts for a BBQ, prize raffle and shop tours. Here are some photos of the action.

A local Impala club brought out a large group of late model Impala sedans.

Hotchkis tech talk and vehicle inspections
The event was an all-GM show, which attracted a lot of late model Chevy Camaro vehicles. Hotchkis makes a lot of suspension component kits for the Gen 5 Camaro so it was not a surprise to see so many of them in attendance.

Source Interlink Open House in El Segundo

Last night was an open house event at the Source Interlink Tech Center in El Segundo, Ca. We had a lot of fun seeing friends and colleagues from the hot rod and auto racing industries. Source Interlink publishes a majority of the automotive magazines you see on the news stand, including Hot Rod and Street Rodder. Here are some highlights from the event.
A band played classic rock all night long.
The tech center had plenty of cool project cars and motorcycles on display.
A packed house.
Pinstriper Sonny Boy was there adding some artwork to a hot rod project.
Here is a photo of my brother and I with long time friend and Street Rodder magazine representative John Barkley. John has worked with our company for many years and has been a friend of our father since the 1970s.

A clean Chevelle.
Thank you to Source Interlink for having us out at the open house. It was a fun night and we look forward to seeing everyone out at the Grand National Roadster Show this coming weekend. Check back here on Monday for photo highlights from that event.
