Model A Swap Meet and Super Car Sunday

California Car Cover was not attending any events over the weekend so I got up on Sunday morning and went to promote some of our upcoming shows. Around the corner from our shop on Sunday was the annual SFV Model A Club Parts Exchange and Show at the Boys Town.

There were quite a few cars on display and plenty of vendors exchanging all sorts of old car parts.



Looking for something rusty?

How about an operating hay baler?



I was not sure what this vehicle was, but it definitely attracted some attention.

These were pretty cool. A bunch of vintage Los Angeles street signs. There's a chance I picked up one for my garage.



The exchange was a good event to talk to some customers and pass out fliers for our upcoming parts exchange and parking lot sale we are hosting on Sept 17th. From the Model A show, I cruised over to Super Car Sunday to see what was going on.

I didn't get over there until 10 so I missed most of the action, but there was still a fair amount of cars on display.

Next, flip the towel over and buff the cleaned area with the dry side of the microfiber towel. This will give your interior a nice low sheen. Repeat this throughout all interior surfaces. The Interior Cleaner is great for use throughout the interior.

Our Golden Shine Brilliant Wheel Cleaner quickly and easily cleans your vehicle's wheels. Whether you have painted, anodized, chrome or polished wheels, our Brilliant Wheel Cleaner will give them a show winning shine in no time. The cleaner does not have butyl or petroleum distillates which can be harmful to wheels and the environment. Using our wheel cleaner involves just a few quick steps.

First, rinse off the wheels when they are cool. Next, spray the Brilliant Wheel Cleaner all over the surface of the wheels. You might want to spray extra on the spots with heavy brake dust and road grime build up.



To help break up the brake dust, use a soft wheel brush or microfiber towel. Agitating the dust and grime will make it easier to rinse off. I usually just use a microfiber towel, but sometimes a wheel brush can get into narrow spokes easier.

Once the dirt is loosened, simply rinse with water and wipe dry with a soft microfiber towel.

Pomona Swap Meet 8/14

August 14th, 2011: It ended up being another hot summer day in SoCal. The buyers and sellers were lined up early to enter the Pomona Fairplex. As usual, California Car Cover and I were on hand.

Looking to buy a car? There are always plenty of nice classic cars on display and for sale. I took photos of a few nice cars I spotted near our booth.













You can find anything at the Pomona Swap Meet. It is a giant garage sale. Whether you are looking for car parts, bikes, tools, tailgating stuff, or bar decor, the swap meet has it all.





California Car Cover has been exhibiting here since we started back in 1989. We have our typical trade show booth, plus a sale booth on the next aisle.
