Born Free 5 Motorcycle Show in Silverado, Ca

Born Free 5 was this past Saturday in Silverado, Ca. This annual show attracts thousands of motorcycles and bike enthusiasts to Oak Canyon Ranch for a kick back day that is free for everyone to attend.

For those of you who went to the show, you will recognized this scene. This is what all four-wheel attendees had to deal with on Saturday. Due to multiple events taking place around Irvine Lake on Saturday it took about two hours to get into the venue from the highway.
This was not a concern for most of the morning
Here are a few photos from the parking lot. There were a lot of bikes on display. In fact, there were probably just as many bikes in the parking lot outside the show as there were inside the venue. Whether you were a fan of full dress Harleys, choppers, or road bikes, there was something there for you.

Whether you liked original, classic styled bikes or custom choppers there was something at Born Free 5 for everyone.

The Born Free merchandise booth was a popular hangout all day long.

So was the Harley Davidson booth. A giant "Cold Beer" sign always does attract a crowd

The builder showcase was the main attraction at the show. The event put custom motorcycles on display from some of the top bike builders from around the world. It was an amazing collection of custom bikes and craftsmanship. In addition to the great display, a number of the bikes were part of the raffle. For $25 show attendees could purchase a raffle ticket for a chance to win a select number of the bikes. It was a great opportunity for some lucky motorcycle enthusiasts. And it was a pretty cool gesture by the bike builders to raffle off some of their handy work. More updates or information on the raffle and show can be found on the Born Free Facebook page.

There were around 200 vendors and bike builders at Born Free as well. The vendor areas were spread around Oak Canyon Ranch so it was nice to walk around the venue and see it all. A number of California Car Cover customers, like Moon Eyes and Tres Noir, had booths at the show. There was a lot of motorcycle and custom culture apparel and accessories.

Whenever you have a chopper event there is always some spectacular and clever paint ideas. Here are some great paint examples on gas tanks and helmets.
