Photos from the Last Pomona Swap Meet of 2013

Always a great way to start the day.

The last Pomona Swap Meet of 2013 was held on Sunday. The California Car Cover Crew and I were out there nice and early to talk car care with our friends and customers. It was cold (by California standards) on Sunday morning, but plenty of people still came out to the swap meet.

As always, there were plenty of classic cars up for sale all over the property. The Chevy Suburban shown above attracted a lot of attention with its low stance and custom interior.

Even with the cold weather, the swap meet aisles were packed with buyers and sellers. The Pomona Swap Meet always has those hard to find parts and unique merchandise.

The perk of having the California Car Cover booth on the main drag at the swap meet is that we get to see all of the cars cruise in and cruise out from the show. Here are a few more classic Chevys from the swap meet.

1936 Chevy Coupe from the California Car Cover Hemmings Onsert

Local customer Daniel Prisk brought his 1936 Chevy Coupe to our photo shoot for the special Hemmings edition of our California Car Cover catalog. This '36 Business Coupe features metallic green paint and white wall tires.

The Chevy features a Mustang rack and pinion steering and a Ford rear end. Under the hood is a small block engine, Walker radiator and Sanderson headers.

 The Chevy has tan leather seats, door panels and headliner.

I went down to the LA Auto Show for one of the press days to check out the 2012 models, concept cars and vehicles being unveiled at the show.

I was pretty excited for the 2013 Ford Flex unveiling. I drive one so I was looking forward to what was in store for 2013.
The 2013 Ford Flex looks the same on the exterior except for the revamped front grille and changes to the lift gate aluminum panel. The interior looks about the same, except for the updated center console with the Ford My Touch programming. You can view additional photos of the Ford Flex on my FordFlex.Net posting.
