Photos from the Last Pomona Swap Meet of 2013

Always a great way to start the day.

The last Pomona Swap Meet of 2013 was held on Sunday. The California Car Cover Crew and I were out there nice and early to talk car care with our friends and customers. It was cold (by California standards) on Sunday morning, but plenty of people still came out to the swap meet.

As always, there were plenty of classic cars up for sale all over the property. The Chevy Suburban shown above attracted a lot of attention with its low stance and custom interior.

Plenty of classic Chevy trucks were on display and up for sale.

Even with the cold weather, the swap meet aisles were packed with buyers and sellers. The Pomona Swap Meet always has those hard to find parts and unique merchandise.

The perk of having the California Car Cover booth on the main drag at the swap meet is that we get to see all of the cars cruise in and cruise out from the show. Here are a few more classic Chevys from the swap meet.

1948 Ford Deluxe Woodie from our December Catalog Cover

The December California Car Cover catalog cover photo shoot brought us to the home of local customers, Bob and Sandi Valenzuela. The couple has a great collection of classic 1930s-40s Ford vehicles and we were thrilled that they would participate in this year's Santa's Workshop photo shoot.

Bob and Sandi's multi-car garage has expanded through the years to accommodate more vehicles and more collectibles. We are pretty fond of all those Plushweave California Car Covers, but check out their amazing collection of vintage signs and neon.

The old Ford sedan that surrounds the tree has been there quite a while.

Bob has amassed quite a collection of 1932 Ford grilles. He proudly displays them in a variety of colors throughout the garage.

The featured vehicle on our December catalog cover is a 1948 Ford Deluxe Woodie. The Woodie features maroon paint. It has a small block engine under the hood and maroon leather interior to match the exterior paint.

 The December edition of the California Car Cover catalog is typically our most popular catalog of the year. This year we were fortunate to be able to shoot at the garage of one of our long time customer, Rick Principe. Amongst his collection of Ferrari, Jaguar and Porsche automobiles, Rick has a beautiful 1940 Ford Deluxe Coupe.

 Rick's garage has been featured in automotive publications and we were thrilled that he was able to assist us with our December photo shoot. The garage has custom flooring, artwork and of course, plenty of remarkable automobiles.
